What are JCo connections

To retrieve data from Backend system to Java system we need to setup JCO Connections:

Step1: Define the backend system in SLD

Step 2: Setup the JCO Connections

SLD: sld we can configure the SLD. Technical landscape-New Technical system-Select the system type(ABAP)-enter the parameters like SID, Installation number, Host name, Instance ID, Client name/No.-Database Host name click on finish.

JCO: index.html click on WEBDynpro-content administrator-create JCO connections—give the name-select the backend system-Enter the user details with which the connection should be established to the backend system-Finish.
